Obituary for Andreas Felske

Recently, February has ended with sad news around industrial cleaning because Dr Andreas Felske passed away on Sunday 26th of February.

He was the Chairman of the German Industrial Cleaning Association “DIRV”, and also he worked as the Head of waste management at BASF Ludwigshafen.

Andreas was a passionate and respected individual who used his vision to improve safety in the industrial cleaning sector.

During his 66 years, he had the opportunity to get to know people with whom he showed up his passion and influence around industrial cleaning and water jetting.

Everyone who had the opportunity of meeting him knew that he was so respected and the actions that he carried out allowed the creation of the German Industrial cleaning association, known as “DIRV”.

He was so esteemed at the European Water Jetting Institute, EWJI. His passion, dedication, and experiences around the projects that he held to increase the safety and health of people who works with water jetting will never be forgotten by us.

Andreas’ death has left a void in our lives and we sincerely send our condolences to his family and colleagues.

Henceforth, he will always be remembered in EWJI as a professional person, an active member of the association, and a person we could always count on.
