High-pressure water-jetting with its multiple applications represent a rapidly evolving sector that promotes innovating, efficient and safe practice, adding value to the business of all kinds of contractors.

EWJI is an umbrella organization for national associations and an important international networking point between associations, contractors, suppliers, and relevant prescribers… The organization model as an institute allows the participation of relevant public bodies and administration in the development of this trade.

EWJI has been created in order to look after, promote and protect the interests of the water jetting in Europe, to set and to promote European standards on water jetting techniques, to be involved in and have an impact on health and safety legislation and to maintain contacts with similar organizations in other parts of the world, e.g. Asia and the U.S.

EWJI offers different options to get involved:

Membership National Water Jetting Associations or Federations from European countries Water jetting contractors Water jetting suppliers (manufacturers, dealers,…)	Partnership Associations and other groups related to the water jetting industry Specialized press related to the water jetting industry Universities and educational centers related to the activity of the association

EWJI, as a non-profit organization, has the following objectives:

• To be involved in and have an impact on health and safety standards, best practices, training and legislation related with water jetting
• To promote European regulations and reference documents on water jetting techniques, to improve the processes and ensure quality
• To create a network for open communication and exchange among water jetting professionals, companies, associations and related stakeholders
• To look after, promote and protect the interests of the water jetting industry in Europe
• To exchange information on techniques, applications and working methods among the industry and with other related industries
• To foster innovation, through research and cooperation between the industry and universities, and to facilitate the access to funding available for these purposes
• To support the existing associations and foster the creation of new organizations in Europe, sharing the knowledge and best practices related with water jetting
• To contact and cooperate with similar organizations in other parts of the world
