The EWJI Annual Meeting 2025 commenced in Borås, Sweden, bringing together industry professionals for a day focused on innovation, sustainability, and collaboration.
The morning session included a visit to TST Sweden, where attendees explored the company’s latest advancements in high-pressure water jetting safety solutions and received a detailed presentation on PPE regulations. This visit provided valuable insights into the industry’s ongoing developments and safety standards.
Later, participants visited the Swedish Textile School, where experts showcased pioneering research in sustainable textiles. Topics included natural fiber alternatives for security applications, sound-integrated textiles, and medical textile innovations, reinforcing the sector’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
The day concluded with a networking dinner at The View, sponsored by TST Sweden AB. The evening featured a special tribute to Per-Arne Andersson, recognizing his significant contributions to the industry.
With a strong start, the event is set to continue with more insightful discussions and networking opportunities in the following sessions.
