The European Water Jetting Institute, EWJI, has a strong focus on developments in Europe, which are of interest to the water jetting industry.

Further, the EWJI has amongst others the following objectives: to look after, promote and protect the interests of the water jetting in Europe, to set and to promote European standards on water jetting techniques and to be involved in and have an impact on health and safety legislation, among others.

European qualification for workers in the spotlight in the EWJI Forum 2019

The workshop focused on the possibility of creating a European standard for training/assessment and recognition (qualification) of the workers' expertise.

EWJI' involvement in the Water Jetting Global Standards is reflected in the Forum 2019

The workshop "Global Hydroblasting Standards and Standards for equipment" summed up and explained the basic global safety standards in water blasting activities.

EWJI Forum 2019 address best practices for the assessment and accreditation

The workshop, named "Competency of contractors: assessment, safety, and accreditation", expanded on the best practices of existing models for the assessment and accreditation of water jetting contractors.

EWJI progresses celebrating a new edition of the Forum

In this edition, one of the main innovations was the structure of the event, based on a few presentations, followed by a time to generate a rewarding debate.
