The European Water Jetting Institute (EWJI) has appointed Mr. Andrew Birt of STONAGE (NL) as its new Vice President, succeeding Mr. Jan van der Wal in this key leadership role. Mr. Birt brings over two decades of expertise in the water jetting industry and a proven track record of leadership at StoneAge Waterblast Tools.
In his capacity as Sales Manager, he has driven market expansion, managed key accounts, and provided technical support to customers worldwide. Earlier in his tenure, he was appointed European Dealer & UK Sales Manager, coordinating a network of distributors across Europe alongside direct sales operations in the United Kingdom.
In his new role as Vice President of EWJI, Mr. Birt will represent suppliers in the industrial cleaning applications sector, contributing to strategic decisions and technical guidelines that promote safe and efficient water jetting practices. He succeeds Mr. Jan van der Wal, whose dedication and leadership as EWJI Vice President have been invaluable.
