Be part of the conversation: Upcoming education working group

4/09/2025

The EWJI Education Working Group is making steady progress on its upcoming guide dedicated to defining roles and responsibilities within water jetting operations. After setting the foundations in earlier phases, the group is now moving forward with content development, focusing on establishing a clear structure that reflects the needs of the industry across Europe.

This initiative aims to provide a practical framework for identifying the key roles within water jetting teams, outlining the responsibilities, training, and competencies required to ensure safe and effective operations. By harmonizing approaches across different countries, the guide will support the sector in building stronger safety standards and greater consistency in professional practice.

As part of this ongoing work, the next meeting of the Working Group will take place on 17 September at 15:00 (Europe/Brussels time). National associations that are members of EWJI will participate, bringing together their expertise and perspectives to shape a guide that serves as a valuable benchmark for the industry.

EWJI welcomes the active involvement of its member associations and continues to encourage collaboration to ensure that the final publication reflects the shared priorities of the sector and delivers meaningful value to professionals across Europe. Those interested in contributing to this initiative are invited to contact the EWJI Secretariat to explore how they can participate.
