EWJI Members Strengthen Industry Connections at Annual Golf Networking Event

The return of the annual industry golf tournament, organized by WJTA, provided an opportunity for professionals from across the waterjetting sector to reconnect, strengthen business relationships and support a common cause in a relaxed environment.

Held alongside the wider industry gathering in the United States, the event attracted a strong turnout from manufacturers, service providers, contractors and technology specialists, including representatives from several EWJI member companies. The tournament has become a valued tradition within the international waterjetting community, offering participants the chance to exchange experiences and build new connections outside the conference setting.

Beyond the competition itself, the event also helped raise funds for the WJTA Student Scholarship Fund, supporting the development of future talent and contributing to the long-term growth of the industry.

Companies attending highlighted the importance of these informal networking opportunities. The strong participation from sponsors, customers and industry partners demonstrated once again the collaborative nature of the waterjetting sector and the commitment of companies to supporting industry associations and professional development initiatives.

Building Relationships Beyond the Exhibition Hall

While technical conferences and trade exhibitions remain essential for knowledge sharing, events such as the annual golf tournament create valuable opportunities for professionals to strengthen relationships in a more informal setting. These interactions often help foster future collaborations, business partnerships and the exchange of best practices across the industry.

At the European Water Jetting Institute (EWJI), we are always pleased to see our members engaging in activities that bring the international waterjetting community together Strong professional networks remain one of the sector’s greatest strengths, helping companies share expertise, support innovation and attract the next generation of professionals to our industry.
