Lee O’Callaghan appointed first chairman of the Water Jetting Association

The Water Jetting Association (WJA) appointed Lee O’Callaghan as its first-ever chairman. O’Callaghan, a WJA-approved Coach/Examiner, will lead the 12-person board in steering the association’s strategic initiatives and representing its members.

In his statement, O’Callaghan expressed his honor at the appointment, saying, “I’m excited to work with the board, WJA members, and all stakeholders to enhance safety and success in the water jetting industry.” His leadership comes at a time of restructuring within the WJA, which is now incorporated as a company limited by guarantee.

The WJA, the UK’s largest provider of accredited water jetting training, is dedicated to advancing safety, productivity, and sustainability in the water jetting sector. The new governance structure allows for a more focused and dynamic approach to supporting the industry.

With a strong commitment to education, advocacy, and best practices, O’Callaghan and the WJA board are poised to continue driving innovation and excellence in the water jetting industry.
