New developments from the working group on vacuum systems

The EWJI Working Group tasked with creating a new technical guide continues moving forward, now focusing on content development after the initial planning phase. The publication will target specific applications in the sewer cleaning and hydro excavation sectors, providing practical and accessible information for professionals across Europe.

The guide is being developed collaboratively by experts from various EWJI member organizations, combining diverse experience and know-how to ensure a comprehensive and high-quality resource. Recent work has focused on reviewing the structure, refining key topics, and realigning the scope to better match industry priorities.

As part of this evolution, the Working Group itself is undergoing a reorganization, and new contributors are welcome. EWJI encourages any interested members to get in touch with the Secretariat to join this important project and help shape a publication that will benefit the whole sector.
