EWJI Holds Virtual Board Meeting, Plans for 2024 Activities

In a virtual meeting held on February 15, 2024, the European Water Jetting Institute (EWJI) Board of Directors reviewed key data from the past year and outlined plans for the upcoming year. Originally, it was going to be a face-to-face meeting, but it had to be moved to an online format due to the political and social context affecting several European capitals for the past few days. In the meeting, discussions revolved around the association’s status and its members.

Economic predictions for the year 2024, impacting both Europe and the association’s members, were also addressed, referencing the document from The Council of the European Union that was mentioned a few days ago.

During the meeting, the EWJI Secretariat presented the 2023 annual report and proposed a series of activities for 2024, including government meetings, publications, newsletters, audiovisual content, and events such as the Annual Convention in November 2024. The economic report indicated a positive final balance.

The Board concluded by scheduling the next meeting for May 28, 2024, from 10:30 to 12:00, which will be held online. In the next meeting, the Board will continue to address ongoing matters and plan for the future. The association remains committed to advancing the water jetting industry and addressing challenges in the evolving global landscape.
