EWJI sets course for 2025 at annual board meeting

The European Water Jetting Institute (EWJI) held an online Board meeting, gathering its key leaders and industry representatives. Led by EWJI President Mr. Hans Borgt from DOW Benelux, attendees included prominent figures such as Vice President Jan van der Wal from Stoneage and senior executives from companies including TST Sweden, WOMA, and Spir Star.

The agenda covered essential topics, including the association’s status, upcoming activities and events, and a financial report. The Board reviewed the current membership, which includes 29 members comprising associations, contractors, suppliers, and an asset owner.

EWJI’s recent activities were discussed, including significant industry events like the UK Water Jetting Association Trade Show and DIRV event, where EWJI’s 2023 Yearbooks were distributed. The Board noted the limited response to the 2024 Industry Report. Additionally, the association is finalizing its Yearbook with support from 11 confirmed sponsors and is actively working on a new Roles Guide in collaboration with companies such as BASF and Lobbe.

The Board also discussed EWJI’s financial status, approving the 2023 financial results and an updated 2024 report. Looking forward, the next annual assembly will be hosted by TST in Sweden on February 26-27, 2025, following EWJI’s initiative to rotate the event among member companies to enhance accessibility.
