Mr. Weil is the Manager of the Division Engineering and Innovation at Parker Hannifin Manufacturing GmbH & Co KG and will make a presentation about hoses & fittings, standardization and lifetime.
He has 29 years of experience in various engineering leadership roles in the design, development and testing of thermoplastic and rubber hoses and hose-fittings in the fields of automotive, hydraulic, oil & gas and water jetting applications.
In addition, he has international experience managing complex, global development projects and strategic innovation initiatives, as well as over 20 years of active involvement in creating Standards for the hose and fitting industry in SAE, DIN and ISO committees.
The presentation in the frame of the EWJI Annual Convention 2016 will provide an overview of standardization in the field of hose & fittings for the water jetting industry, discuss how application parameters impact the lifetime of hose assemblies and highlighting the need for common guidelines to further enhance safety and reliability.
