Helmut Burger is currently co-owner of REPROTEX, an innovative Company in mobile wastewater treatment company in Austria, where he is also responsible for business development.
During his presentation in the EWJI Annual Convention 2016, Mr. Burger will explain the environmental impact of operations, focus on re-using water and reducing waste.
From Nov 2006 to Nov 2013, Mr. Burger served as the Chief Executive Officer at AVE Energie AG OÖ.
Umwelt, a company active in the waste management sector in Central and Eastern Europe.
In this position, he oversaw sales and market development activities in the CEE region.
One of his core-competences has been the development of waste-management concepts for public administration including PPP-models.
Previously, he worked for over 10 years for Energie AG OÖ, most recently in the position of Head of Strategy and Corporate Development, until Oct 2006.
Energie AG Oberösterreich is an infrastructure group specializing in the areas of energy, water, and waste disposal.
Mr. Burger has over 18 years of experience in the waste management sector in CEE in particular.
Helmut Burger has been a member of the advisory board of the E.ON CZ since 2003.
Furthermore, he was a member of the supervisory board of several companies in the electricity and water/wastewater business in Austria and the Czech Republic.
