- The European Water Jetting Institute, EJWI, welcomes the WJA, the United Kingdom national association, as a new member.
The United Kingdom’s Water Jetting Association (WJA) is a trade association representing contractors, manufacturers, hirers and other organisations that have a professional and commercial interest in all aspects of high-pressure water jetting.
The WJA supports the highest possible safety and technical standards for all forms of water jetting, including ultra-high-pressure water jetting, high pressure water jetting, pressure washing, and drain and sewer cleaning.
It is also committed to furthering its members’ interests in terms of commercial opportunities, brand association, technical advice and high-pressure water jetting training.
The WJA has developed two detailed Codes of Practice for water jetting – the ‘Blue Code’ for high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water jetting, and the ‘Red Code’ for the use of water jetting in drains and sewers.
In addition, the association is dedicated to the development of high-pressure water jetting skills and promoting wider understanding of its potentialities and applications.
WJA training courses are accredited by the City & Guilds of the London Institute and are recognised as setting the industry standard for high-pressure water jetting training. Courses are delivered in the UK and internationally through WJA-registered training providers and by WJA-approved trainers.
