Progress of the Vacuums Working Group

The Vacuums Working Group is moving forward with the development of a new Technical Guide on the use of pressurized water, with a particular focus on urban sewer cleaning and hydro excavation.

In earlier meetings, the group had already defined the sector of application. During this latest session, members reviewed the objectives and preliminary table of contents, shaping the structure of the guide. Following the style of previous publications, it will be a concise, practical document designed to provide technical reference for companies and professionals in the field.

The meeting also underlined the potential to strengthen international collaboration and to involve specialized companies, which will contribute to enriching the content and broadening the scope of the guide.

Next steps include collecting relevant materials and high-quality visuals, as well as drafting the first chapters for review before the next working group meeting in September.
