The French association S3C successfully holds its 2025 General Assembly

On May 22, 2025, the French association S3C (Système de Certification Compétence et Conformité), an active member of EWJI, held its annual General Assembly — a key milestone for the organization and an important gathering for its members.

The event brought together a significant number of participants who contributed to the success of the day, marked by open dialogue, transparency, and a shared commitment to the future of the high-pressure water jetting and industrial cleaning sectors in France.

In addition to the regular General Assembly, S3C convened an Extraordinary General Assembly to vote on a proposal to amend the association’s statutes. The proposal was approved, allowing S3C to update its internal structure and governance framework in line with the current needs and ambitions of the association. This initiative reflects S3C’s proactive approach to remaining aligned with industry evolution and legal standards.

One of the key highlights of the day was the election of a new Board of Directors, who will lead the association through the next chapter of its strategic plan. The newly elected board brings together experienced professionals committed to strengthening the association’s voice, expanding its initiatives, and supporting its members in facing emerging technical and regulatory challenges.

The event was also a valuable opportunity to reflect on the association’s activities over the past year, share updates, and gather input from members on future actions. From training initiatives to technical guidance, S3C continues to serve as a key reference point for professionals in the French surface preparation and cleaning sector.

As part of the EWJI network, S3C plays an essential role in promoting best practices, professionalization, and innovation within the European framework. EWJI congratulates S3C for the successful organization of its 2025 General Assembly and looks forward to continued collaboration in strengthening the sector at a continental level.
