Together for safer workplaces: European week 2024

The European Week for Safety and Health at Work is set to take place from October 23 to 27, 2024, promoting a culture of safety across workplaces in Europe. Organized by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), this initiative encourages organizations and individuals to participate in raising awareness about the importance of occupational health and safety.

This year’s theme focuses on the need for effective risk management in the workplace, aiming to foster a proactive approach to health and safety. The campaign provides valuable resources, including toolkits, webinars, and best practice guides, to help employers and employees implement effective measures in their workplaces.

Organizations are encouraged to host activities during the week, such as workshops, seminars, and saety demonstrations, to engage employees and promote a safer working environment. By participating, companies can demonstrate their commitment to worker safety and well-being, while also benefiting from the shared knowledge and experiences of others in the industry.

EU-OSHA invites everyone to get involved and contribute to a safer work culture. The European Week for Safety and Health at Work serves as an important reminder of the collective responsibility to ensure that all workers can thrive in a safe and healthy environment.
