On December 14, the DIRV working group was officially founded within VDMA, marking a significant step to strengthen the industrial cleaning sector. With 45 professionals participating, the event sent a clear message about the industry’s commitment to becoming more professional, visible, and collaborative.
Three working groups were established, focusing on workplace safety, market transparency, and market presence. Additionally, two key presentations highlighted the importance of safety in blasting operations and the new sustainability reporting requirements for companies.
With 25 membership applications received from the start, the new group has strong support. Members of the DIRV working group will continue to be exempt from fees within DIRV e.V.
The working group aims to build professional structures, increase industry influence, and provide a strong platform within VDMA, inviting all interested companies to join and contribute to future challenges.
