
The Water Jetting Association (WJA) has officially announced the launch of its inaugural national awards, dedicated to recognizing excellence and safety across the industry.
The WJA, a key national representative of the water jetting sector, will host its first-ever WJA Awards ceremony on Thursday, September 24th, 2026, at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester. This landmark event aims to celebrate outstanding achievements, innovation, and the tireless commitment to safety within the community.
The WJA Awards 2026 will feature eight distinct categories designed to honor both individuals and organizations who are driving the sector forward. The award categories include:
- Water Jetting Operative of the Year
- Water Jetting Trainer of the Year
- Safety Initiative of the Year
- Innovation of the Year
- Committee Contribution Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
John Jones, President of the WJA, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative: “Our members perform vital, highly skilled, and often challenging work every day.
