What kind of collective protective measures should be implemented in water jetting jobs?

In order to protect all the workers performing the water jetting job, such as other persons who may be in the surrounding areas of the working area, the following protective measures should be adopted:
- Working areas will be adequately closed and warning signs will be posted in prominent locations, access points and perimeters.
- Access by people outside the waterjet team will be strictly prohibited while work is in progress. If any unauthorised entry occurs, all work will cease immediately.
- The working area must be free from potential tripping hazards.
- The working area must have the adequate drainage, ventilation and lighting facilities.
- The working area must have adequate room between objects to be cleaned so they do not become a danger to the jetter.
