Municipal cleaning, drain and sewer

The latest application of pressurized water techniques is municipal sanitation. It consists of the maintenance of public hydraulic networks (fecal and rain), by means of mixed equipment of impulsion and aspiration. to obtain a better performance it is possible to use recycling equipment that uses the same water that circulates through the network to carry out the cleaning.

Among the situations to highlight for the application of pressurized water:

  • The most common is the obturation of collectors by detergents, greases, sands, etc… and other materials. The descaling action is carried out by means of the contact of the jets of water under pressure against the sediments of the network.
  • Obturation of root collectors, where the nozzle cuts roots exert the action that its own name indicates, as well as incrustations, in addition to cleaning in a preliminary way before the rehabilitation and elimination of recent remains of concrete.
  • Obturation of collectors by calcareous products, where the descaling action is carried out thanks to the contact of the vibratory frame against the sediments of the pipe. In this case, the percussive rotary cutters are designed to eliminate the hardest deposits such as concrete, injected cement, calcareous layers, etc.

High vacuum systems:

  • These systems are used in both industrial cleaning and municipal sanitation applications.
  • Through the absorption depressors, the high vacuum system has the function of carrying out the collection (aspiration, suction,…) of the water resulting from the cleaning and its subsequent transfer to the final destination (customer installation, WWTP, etc.).

Among the characteristics of a standard depressor, they stand out:

  • Use of working elements that create a depression inside the cistern that allow the aspiration of water, sludge, etc.
  • Use of different types of vacuum pumps, such as vane or liquid ring pumps.
  • Effective displacement, without pulsations or vibrations.
