Scope

Guidance applies to hoses, hose assemblies and connected hose assemblies for use in water jetting applications, which include for example pressure washing, drain and sewer cleaning, high and ultra-high-pressure operations.

All hose assemblies are one of the most critical components of water jetting operations. Hose reliability and safety directly affect a provider’s ability to deliver a safe and productive service. Following practices that increase reliability and safe performance of these components is essential for the continued health and safety of personnel and strength of the business.
